The kids have been sick for a few weeks now with coughs and I was beginning to wonder if maybe it was allergies...I was talking to one of my guests at work and she was talking about her daughter who has asthma and the things they needed to do to help her. One of which was to replace the carpet in their home. We decided to try it out in their room...
Here it is pretty much finished! It looks and feels so much better in there. And with the air purifier in there, the air is cleaner and the kids sound so much healthier!!

You guys did a great job! It really looks nice! I cant wait to replace our carpets with wood flooring, we all have allergies and asthma as well, but that wont be for a long time. Cement isn't a great alternative either.

Carpet is so gross but also so soft. I couldn't believe how much dirt was under ours when we pulled it up.

I love that there always seems to be amazing floors under yucky carpet. When did hardwood floors go out of fashion? I'm half tempted to pull out the carpet in my apartment just to see - but I think my landlady would get a bit upset.
